Unpack Gallery

Curated by Charles Wong, an independent curator based in the United Kingdom, Unpack Gallery takes its name from the process of migration or relocation, as unpacking one’s belongings is a must upon arrival at the new home. The gallery showcases artworks created by diaspora artists after leaving their homeland. Their featured artworks carry visual representations of the aesthetic sense of displacement and dislocation, but also of diversity, and illustrate the significant impact of the artists’ cultural identity.
