Alric Lee, originally from Hong Kong, is the founder of Lady Liberty Hong Kong. He completed undergraduate studies in the United Kingdom and earned a master’s in engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2017. During the intense 2019 anti-extradition bill protests, Alric established Lady Liberty Hong Kong, which became known for its creation of the Lady Liberty Hong Kong statue – a key symbol in the protests. The group organises art exhibitions and advocacy campaigns globally to support the democratic aspirations of Hong Kongers living abroad.
